Halo 4
The last time we saw Master Chief, he was drifting aimlessly in space, and Halo 4 picks up were the third left off. The famed Spartan is still adrift, but is woken up by Cortana after a strange event occurs outside the ship. The duo set off to investigate, only to be met by swarms of Covenant forces. After a massive battle against the alien hordes, Master Chief discovers that he is above a forunner planet. Almost on cue, the planet then open up, swallowing the Spartan and all of his enemies down onto the planets’ surface.
