Quantum Break
After Alan Wake, Quantum Break seemed poised as another example of Remedy’s narrative prowess with its mix of gameplay and live-action episodes. The latter’s results were mixed, but even on the Xbox One, the visual fidelity was something else, from the particle effects and real-time destruction during slow-mo sequences to the facial animations and character models. Thankfully, it had a chance to properly flex its skills when Control arrived later in the generation.
