Not all video game enemies are visible to the naked eye. Some of them come in different shapes and sizes and some take the appearance of a deadly outbreak. These outbreaks have infected entire populations, turning many of them into shambling shadows of their former selves. Here are the 15 outbreaks in video games that are dangerous and life threatening.

Resident Evil – T Virus

The mother of all video game plagues. Umbrella Corporation had one goal: world domination and they certainly did a good job getting there. The T-Virus turns entire cities into masses of walking corpses, shambling through alleyways and biting off the heads of their fellow man. It created true chaos and kicked off one of the greatest horror franchises in all of gaming.
