Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain – Language Parasites
Encoded to target speakers of specific languages, the parasites lodge themselves in the host’s vocal chords and limit their ability to speak a specific language before killing them. After death the parasite continues to take over the body, transforming the host into a zombie-like being, using them to carry out violent and terrible acts, keeping away anyone who comes near. They were used by Skull Face in Metal Gear Solid 5 to try and kill anyone who spoke the English language, which would have been a pretty big bummer.
