INFINITE FLUTTER – SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2

To be fair, this one isn’t really a gameplay feature as much as it is an exploit, but it’s still a pretty popular one. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, if players had Yoshi, a combination of repeatedly flutter jumping and crouching allowed players to do exactly what the name suggest- keep performing flutter jumps infinitely, allowing them to reach basically any height within the game. Performing the flutter jump properly isn’t easy, mind you, and takes plenty of practice, but once mastered, it can be a very handy tool.
