UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS
Sony Bend was in charge of developing a handheld spinoff of an established PlayStation properties back-to-back, going from Resistance: Retribution to Uncharted: Golden Abyss. And the latter turned out to be just as much of an unfairly overlooked gem as the former, if not even more so. Uncharted: Golden Abyss obviously isn’t on the same level as its console brethren, but it’s still a pretty darn good Uncharted game. It’s got a decent story, enjoyable combat and platforming, appropriately high-stakes set-pieces, and looked excellent for a PS Vita game. It’s a shame it was a PS Vita game though, because ultimately, that’s what really killed it.
