JAMES BOND 007: BLOOD STONE
The 007 license has been wildly inconsistent over the years, having delivered just as many great games as it has delivered middling ones. 2010’s James Bond 007: Blood Stone probably lies firmly in the middle of that spectrum- which is perhaps why people seem to completely forget about it. Really though, it was a solid, explosive, enjoyable third person shooter. The shooting was tight, the mix of snappy melee combat and stealth kept things varied, and the odd car chase here and there was an added bonus. And of course, it helped that Daniel Craig’s Bond was in the game. Blood Stone might not be spectacular, but it was certainly better than its non-existent legacy suggests.
