Many people can fault the Xbox One for lagging behind its competition as far as exclusives are concerned, but the system still has so, so many games that can suck you in like a black hole. Who’d have thought that a game about playing football with cars and monster trucks would be this much fun? Well, it is. It may be outlandish and weird, but perhaps that’s what works so well. Rocket League took the world by storm when it first launched three years ago, and people haven’t stopped playing it since. Every match is fast and exciting, controlling the vehicles is a blast, while the short duration of every game (as well as their fast paced nature) makes it just so easy to stay for another game- only to find out a little later that you’ve been playing for three hours straight.
