THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD
Open world games are often some of the most addictive games one can find, thanks to the large number of activities they offer to the players. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, being the pinnacle of open world game design, is dangerously so. Exploring Hyrule is a joy, and is made even more so thanks to how organically it all unfolds. There’s more than a hundred excellently designed (for the most part) shrines to tackle, hundreds of Korok seeds to collect, innumerable sights and vistas to see. And even if none of those things interest you (but why wouldn’t they), simply fooling about in the open world with the game’s excellent physics and interlinked mechanics is easily something you can sink hours upon hours into.
