INTO THE BREACH
Into the Breach may not be as unforgiving as Subset Games’ previous title FTL – which could almost be frustratingly challenging at times – but don’t mistake that to mean that it’s a breezy ride. Beating the game on your first run is incredibly hard (though not impossible), and the danger of losing your best units permanently always looms large. The ability to retain your skills and pile up unlocks and upgrades makes things easier as you go along, but incredible care and attention are almost a must in order to make sure that you don’t lose your best units- such a loss can be absolutely devastating.
