Gaining access to the Workshop and its initial Workbench is only the very first step of the crafting metagame within Arc Raiders. After that comes six additional Workshop Stations, each of which will have to be upgraded up to level three, unlocking new technologies for you to exploit along the way, as long as you have access to the relevant Blueprints.

This guide is about all seven unique Workshop Stations and how they can be upgraded in Arc Raiders.

Workbench

The first of the Workshop Stations to become available, the default Workbench will have some utility throughout your time in Speranza. It will always be a source for your ammunition supply. Unfortunately, it never progresses beyond level one, so that common weaponry is all that you will ever get out of it.

Explosives Station

Grenades and mines are both effectively destructive to Raiders and ARC alike. The Hornet Driver is going to come in especially handy for otherwise impossible ARC takedowns. This Workshop Station is particularly reliant on Blueprints for its products, and you will be locked out of much of its wares until you locate them.

Level 1: Chemicals 50x, ARC Alloy 6x

Level 2: Synthesized Fuel 3x, Crude Explosives 5x, Pop Trigger 5x

Level 3: Laboratory Reagents 3x, Explosive Compound 5x, Rocketeer Driver 3x

Gear Bench

This Workshop Station is where the improved Shields and Augments are crafted, progressing you beyond the low-level gear you previously had access to with the Workbench. Prioritize Shields over Augments, as you can acquire the Mk. 1 variant of each of the three Augment classes via Lance at the Clinic practically for free, by simply unlocking the Free Loadout Augment through a successful raid and then upgrading it. Your ultimate goal here is to get to level 3 quickly so that you can finally deploy the Looting Mk. 3 Augment for the best possible gear in terms of raid insurance.

Level 1: Plastic Parts 25x, Fabric 30x

Level 2: Power Cable 3x, Electrical Components 5x, Hornet Driver 5x

Level 3: Industrial Battery 3x, Advanced Electrical Components 5x, Bastion Cell 6x

Gunsmith

Your top priority should be getting the Gunsmith up and functioning. It will supply you with the critical silencers needed to maintain stealth on raids, as well as a host of other attachments including various optics. At its highest level you will finally unlock access to a sniper rifle of your own crafting.

Level 1: Metal Parts 20x, Rubber Parts 30x

Level 2: Rusted Tools 3x, Mechanical Components 5x, Wasp Driver 8x

Level 3: Rusted Gear 3x, Advanced Mechanical Components 5x, Sentinel Firing Core 4x

Medical Lab

Everything you need to recharge your shields and heal yourself in order to stay alive comes from right here. These consumables will bring you back from the brink of death, and you cannot afford to rely upon maybe stumbling upon them randomly in the field. The Defibrillator will come in especially handy for team players, allowing you to revive downed squaddies.

Level 1: Fabric 50x, ARC Alloy 6x

Level 2: Cracked Bioscanner 2x, Durable Cloth 5x, Tick Pod 8x

Level 3: Rusted Shut Medical Kit 3x, Antiseptic 8x, Surveyor Vault 5x

Refiner

Technically, you should have this Workshop Station built and upgraded as early as possible, as it is effectively your primary source for advanced materials in quantities that you could not hope to acquire efficiently through raiding. It will convert your basic materials into the rarer components you will begin needing in the mid to late game. You can hold off until you are ready to hit level 3 with the other stations, but beyond that you will definitely need it to cover your resource shortfall.

Level 1: Metal Parts 60x, ARC Powercell 5x

Level 2: Toaster 3x, ARC Motion Core 5x, Fireball Burner 8x

Level 3: Motor 3x, ARC Circuitry 10x, Bombardier Cell 6x

Utility Station

This Workshop Station supplies you with gadgetry that you can then tactically leverage on raids, such as the Snap Hook to grapple around the environment; and Smoke Grenades to cover your escape.

Level 1: Plastic Parts 50x, ARC Alloy 6x

Level 2: Damaged Heat Sink 2x, Electrical Components 5x, Snitch Scanner 6x

Level 3: Fried Motherboard 3x, Advanced Electrical Components 5x, Leaper Pulse Unit 4x

That is everything there is to know about all seven Workshop Stations and how to upgrade them in Arc Raiders.
