Years and years from now, when the history of E3 is being written, Konami’s 2010 event will be in the very first chapter- for all the wrong reasons. There was just so much wrong with this show, and countless compilation videos and memes have explained it all in greater detail than we ever could. But the one single moment that stands out over everything else was- “one million troops”. The pinnacle of cringe in a conference that was, essentially, a bedrock of cringe.
