Malak’s Defeat – Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
On the cusp of death after being defeated by Revan, Darth Malak ponders about the path that led him here. Could their roles have been reversed? Had Revan not pushed Malak onto the Dark Side of the Force, could his fate have been different? None of it matters now of course, as Malak admits that his dream of ruling the galaxy and becoming Master of the Sith was never meant to be his. “It might have been yours, perhaps…but never mine. And in the end, as the darkness takes me…I am nothing.”
