Quick Time Events
Contrary to what you might think, we don’t hate quick time events. When they’re handled sporadically, they can add some interesting nuance to scenes (like in God of War). When you’re just hitting a random assortment of buttons during key cut scenes, it becomes a nuisance. Ryse: Son of Rome went a step further and reduced its gameplay to little more than QTE spamming, dragging down the experience considerably.
