Durability
Weapons in Breath of the Wild can now accumulate damage over time, so you will have to keep an eye on that- weapons in BotW will degrade fast, and it will be advisable for players to stock up on them. The durability of a weapon is determined by a stats system, so if you keep hitting a low ranked axe against a boulder, for instance, don’t expect it to last very long. Of course, there’s always the question of the legendary Master Sword- how will that play into this durability mechanic? Maybe it’s an endgame weapon that’s basically invincible. Then again, the trailer did show it rusted and falling apart…
