Gathering resources
Breath of the Wild takes a step away from another long running series tradition in that hearts will no longer be available in the world.This means that if you want to restore health, you’re going to have to collect resources and eat food. Eating cooked food will increase your health by a bigger margin than eating uncooked food, and similarly, eating food cooked over a pot is a lot more effective than food that has been cooked over a campfire. You can also use the several resources you have gathered to cook your own potions and elixirs- there are a whole lot of combinations and recipes, from what we gather, so we expect there to be a lot of room for experimentation.
