Tommy Vercetti Still Can’t Swim In GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition
In the original GTA: Vice City game, water is an obstacle that protagonist Tommy Vercetti can’t overcome by swimming. Instead, he has to rely on boats to get across any bodies of water, or else he drowns. Disappointingly, nothing’s changed in GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, and Tommy still can’t swim. This was likely done to ensure the game remains faithful to the original, which is appreciated, though it would have been nice if Tommy finally learned how to traverse the waters.
