GTA 5 Story DLC Missions Were Canceled Most Likely Due To GTA Online
GTA 4 DLCs were celebrated upon release, and they provide some of the most action-packed moments in the franchise. Naturally, when GTA 5 launched, players were looking forward to seeing what DLC would come. Nothing ever came.
The lack of GTA 5 story DLC is due to Rockstar focusing on GTA Online. In an interview with YouTuber SanInPlay, a former Rockstar senior camera artist and virtual cinematographer, Joseph Rubino, claimed he had worked on one of the planned DLCs which focused on Trevor. This was confirmed by Trevor’s voice actor, Steve Ogg. As The Loadout reports, Ogg claims that in the DLC, Trevor was going to act as an undercover agent. Sadly, players never got to see more of the zany character in the single-player campaign.
