Typically, GTA games are released on Xbox and PlayStation consoles first before launching a while later on PC. This was seen with GTA 4 which launched on consoles first and only hit PC eight months later. A similar trend occurred with GTA 5, and the title took two years to hit PCs.

The wait time for PC players is quite long, and it doesn’t seem like Rockstar is preparing to change this. GTA 6 is scheduled to release in 2025 and so far, it’s only been confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
