14. Motion Sensor

The PS4 controller also possesses a six-axis motion sensor (3 axis gyroscope and 3 axis accelerometre). The motion sensor has been used in a number of games before – even in the Ps3 games- but the implementation had been very rare.

The Last Guardian can have the motion sensor at its disposal to navigate the player across precarious ledges, balancing on planks or even in user interfered cut scenes. The latter could be a welcome change since button mashing at the right time does get tedious after a while.
