The PlayStation Move Kit was a decent little bundle that has been smartly integrated in the PS4. If Sony doesn’t up with proper gesture compatibility for The Last Guardian, they can utilise the controller’s light to for the same.

This would limit the number of gesture inputs since you can only do so much holding about half a hundred dollar controller, but it would be nice to have gesture controls of any sort just for the sake of involvement in the game.
