It was easy to imagine even before Metro Exodus got its next-gen upgrade how the game could have benefited from the DualSense and its capabilities, and thankfully, the implementation of the controller’s features in the game did not disappoint. Jammed guns and pneumatic rifles, for instance, are just two among several things that feel significantly more tactile thanks to the adaptive triggers, while things such as recoil, firing weapons with suppressors, and the general feedback you get from shooting each weapon are bolstered in truly meaningful ways by the haptic feedback.
