WRC 9
WRC 9 was pretty much at the point back at launch that DiRT 5 has just managed to get to. In fact, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the game’s implementation of the DualSense is about the best we’ve seen in a racer so far. Full of nuance and subtle little flourishes, WRC 9’s use of the adaptive triggers and the haptic feedback genuinely enhances the experiences in noticeable ways, to the extent that playing it without those features feels like a noticeably less immersive experience. The fact that this is a cross-gen game makes all of it that much more impressive.
