All By Myself
Stepping back slightly from that far out, futuristic landscape that was painted in the last slide, but staying in context. VR can become a lonely, isolated place to game, or enjoy life. Free from the threat of human contact, VR promises a world of humanless touch or feel. A world like has already been in the making for a couple decades: the internet. By being able to shop, talk and have fun without having to put on pants, VR would take this to an extreme new level. Virtually walk around a mall in the middle of the Kansas prairies where there isn’t an actual mall within several hundred miles in any direction. This can almost certainly take a VR users life down a lonely, virtual road.
