MARSTON’S FAMOUS SWIMMING SKILLS
As anyone who’s played the first Red Dead Redemption would tell you, John Marston is a terrible swimmer. In fact, he’s no swimmer at all. Even Arthur, who can only swim very slowly and for a very limited period of time, looks like an olympic swimmer when compared to Marston from RDR1. Red Dead Redemption 2 actually pokes fun at this. At one point, in one of the game’s earlier chapters, the gang sets up camp near a lake, and during a conversation, Arthur has a little bit of fun with John, noting that he must be pretty nervous being this close to the water.
