Simple yet disgustingly elegant in its design, Shub-Niggurath is Quake. She’s responsible for the army of demons invading Earth and consists of little more than a massive bleeding trunk with three tendrils jutting up into the sky. Incapable of attacking but invulnerable to most weapons, Shub-Niggurath’s name is Lovecraftian in nature and taken from the short story “Old Ones”.
