“Qui-Gon Jinn is Laughing”
Darth Maul has had a rough time in life. On top of having his lower torso chopped away by Obi-Wan, he’s doomed to appear in Star Wars Battlefront 2 because…he has a dual lightsaber Bo staff or something. Anyway, when you play as Darth Maul in multiplayer and then die, a droid will say, “Somewhere Qui-Gon Jinn is laughing.” This is a callback to The Phantom Menace where Maul killed Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan’s teacher at the time.
