Nier: Automata (Ending E)
Nier: Automata ends on a pretty depressing note, if we’re being honest. 9S, 2B and A2 are both dead, YoRHa and humanity are gone and the machines have seemingly won. Everything is finished, right? Well, Pods 042 and 153 still have the data for 9S, A2 and 2B and if the player wants, they can engage in a shoot ’em up with the credits to effectively restore the three. This task is arduous enough but can be accomplished by accepting help from other players. You can even sacrifice your own save data to help other players reach their goal. Though there’s a chance the events will just repeat, it’s still nice to think there’s hope for change.
