BIONIC COMMANDO
The 2009 Bionic Commando revival had a lot of issues, but the one that takes the cake is how it, for some reason, felt the need to give a bizarre backstory to your bionic arm. What made it so bad was that it wasn’t even a cool backstory that would make sense- no, it was revealed that Spencer’s wife, who’d been presumed missing this entire time, was actually part of his bionic arm, so that it could connect to him properly on both a physical and emotional level.
