Stealth games aren’t a dime a dozen these days, and crafting a compelling experience within the genre is a tough task. And developer Blowfish Studios’ Winter Ember is a great example of failing in this task. Winter Ember has some decent ideas and its atmosphere can be on point at times, but it’s all overshadowed by underbaked mechanics that don’t quite gel with each other – which results in a disappointing experience when taken as a whole.
