Blowfish Studios’ recent release Blackwind takes an interesting premise of controlling a high-tech Mech on dangerous adventures but fails to do justice to those interesting ideas. Blackwind has a long laundry list of issues – including but not limited to horrendous checkpoints, and wildly unbalanced combat among others. There are some hints of greatness here and there, but nothing substantial to redeem this forgettable experience.
