Diablo Immortal

While Diablo Immortal was by no means the next proper entry in this long-running dungeon crawler, this free-to-play spinoff still had some potential to become a beast of its own. Blizzard crafted an enjoyable Diablo experience with streamlined controls and a traditional campaign, but everything surrounding that core gameplay loop – such as loot drops, and endgame activities are all crafted in a way so as to force players into opting for microtransactions culminating in an experience that’s objectively disappointing.
