Pokemon X/Y decided to finally make the EV training mechanic in Pokemon easier to follow with Super Training, a virtual training simulation included in game that allowed players to specialize their Pokemon and create custom builds. Sun/Moon will do the same with IVs- long the bane of most Pokemon players, who have to suffer through chain breeding and busywork to get the perfect Pokemon generated by sheer chance, Hyper Training will now allow players to work on their Pokemon’s stats once they reach level 100, letting them compensate or any natural weaknesses that Pokemon may otherwise have.
