Microtransactions For Boosters
Konami hasn’t exactly been the shining paragon of microtransaction implementation in the industry, as anyone who’s played Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain online will tell you. Metal Gear Survive is unfortunately more of the same. Want to level up faster or make your squads more effective when sending them out for missions? Pony up some cash. Hilariously, the boosters you receive have a time limit, lasting either one day with 200 SV Coins (which cost $2) or 60 days for 2400 SV Coins (which cost…actually, there’s no bundle for that. You need to buy the 3500 SV Coin bundle which costs $30). We’d make some kind of joke about “pride and accomplishment” but Konami has already done a good enough job.
