No Layered Armor
We’re going to go back to this, because we have to. It’s hard to say why Bethesda dropped such a fun and important gameplay mechanic starting with Oblivion, but they carried on with it into Skyrim even. As a result, every character you made ended up looking the same, as you grabbed the single best looking or strongest armor you could find and stuck with it forever, never needing to replace it, and never finding anything good to replace it with either.
