One thing RPG fans have expressed disappointment with in the entire genre lately is that RPG’s are becoming too simplified. Skyrim is one of the worst offenders of this. You’re given so many great weapons and so much money early in the game that later enemies pose little threat.

Beyond that, there aren’t any advanced systems to dive into. You never have to worry about eating, sleeping, or drinking. Layered armor isn’t available. If you do run into trouble, you can hire one of several companions who’ll act as a good meat shield if nothing else.
