You may think it’s bizarre, but in certain action RPG looters, some new players operate on the assumption that a higher number equals something better. No, not as part of the build they’re playing, but anything, whether the stats, set bonuses, and perks benefit them – see Path of Exile or Diablo 4 – and just put it on. It sounds ludicrous, especially as you enter the late-game and early end-game, but alas, that higher number remains alluring for some without fundamentally understanding builds.
