But just finding wild Pokemon to begin with can be difficult. A lot of the new wild Pokemon are incredibly rare in the wild, such as Mimikyu and Jamgmo-o, which have an encounter rate of 5% (or 1 in 20!). That’s bad enough, but then there is the fact that a whole lot of Pokemon can only be found in extremely obtuse ways- to get a wild Pikachu, for instance, or Mareanie, you must battle other wild Pokemon, and wait for them to call for help, where there is a small chance that these ones will appear. But Goomy probably takes the cake here- to find a Goomy in the wild, you must initiate a wild Pokemon battle when it is raining (which can be totally random, by the way), and wait for that Pokemon to call for help, and hope Goomy shows up. Game Freak- why???
