BATTLES ARE NOW SLOWER

It’s not just the starting of the game that’s slower- battles in the game are slower too. After Black/White and X/Y made huge strides towards making Pokemon battles snappy, battles here are besot by slower text speeds and a few seconds of waiting before a turn begins, and inexplicable regressions, such as the HP bar draining out very slowly, instead of instantaneously, like it did in the last few games. It doesn’t matter enough in any one individual battle- but through the course of the game, it can get annoying.
