QR CODE SCANNING CAN BE USED TO UNLOCK RARE POKEMON
Pokemon Sun/Moon introduce a new QR Code scanning feature. This is extremely helpful, because not only does it allow you to register Pokemon as ‘seen’ in your Pokedex (meaning they should now be easier for you to track), but, if you scan 10 QR Codes a day, you also unlock some extremely rare Pokemon, such as the Johto Starter Pokemon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.
