4. Remote Play Optimisation

Remote Play is an uber cool idea and we absolutely love it. You can hook up your PS Vita and use it as an additional remote with its own cool display. What comes as a bummer is the Vita’s lack of buttons. Or putting it another way, the ignorance on Sony’s part to make use of such an awesome thing. PS3 did it just fine but with a new generation up and running, we expect it to make splendid use of the Remote Play feature.

A number of games on the Vita have compensated for the lack of buttons by elegantly optimising the touchscreen and the rear touch panel. It does no justice to us that PS4 devs are shirking off work like this. There’s no reason why the touch panel and the screen can’t be utilised to make Remote Play even more fun because quite frankly, the prospect really does have appeal to it.
