The Infinity Stones are obviously going to be quite important in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, but not just in terms of the narrative itself, but also as a gameplay mechanic. Infinite is going to feature a new gameplay mechanic called Infinity Surge, in which players will be able to use Infinity Stones. These Infinity Stones will grant characters temporary stat boosts and abilities and powers, and these will vary as well, depending on which stone has been selected.
