NEW STORY ELEMENTS
Yakuza Kiwami 2 isn’t just going to be a straight up 1:1 remake of the original Yakuza 2. Sega are remaking the game from the ground up, and while they do this, they’re also going to take the opportunity to alter the original game’s story somewhat. Of course, there are not going to be any major changes that significantly change the narrative, but Sega have said that they’re going to add new elements that will not only tie the game with the rest of the series more closely, but will also resolve some previously confusing plot points.
