DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is yet another example of a single player game bafflingly making use of microtransactions. The game itself contains microtransactions for a number of things, but the thing that caught the most attention was the fact that certain purchases could only be used for one single save file, which meant that if you wanted to use those items again in another save, you’d have to purchase them once again. Though in this particular instance the game doesn’t really outright direct players to paying more money, it still caused quite a bit of controversy.
