COMBAT IN KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game that is built first and foremost around the idea of having a huge open world RPG set in a realistic setting- from its needs mechanic to even what sort of armour you wear, realism is always one of the things it prioritizes the most. That shows through in combat as well. Based on proper physics and having none of the magical abilities and powers you’d expect in games of the sort, positioning, timing, and technique are often of great importance in Kingdom Come’s combat. It takes a while to get used to it, but once you do, and it clicks, it’s hard not to enjoy it thoroughly.
