PAINTED WORLD OF ARIAMIS (DARK SOULS)
The Painted World of Ariamis is an optional area, so you don’t have to tackle it. But you should- it’s tough, but it’s really good. How is it tough, though? Well, for starters, once you enter, you can’t leave, not without finishing it. That itself is enough to give many people pause. That said, this area is actually easier than most of the others we’ve listed in this feature. If you don’t bring fire weapons or magic, though, some of the area’s more toxic enemies – and we mean literally toxic – are going to give you hell.
