GEARS OF WAR: JUDGMENT

Speaking of black sheep instalment in otherwise massive franchises, Gears of War: Judgment is another one that perhaps gets ignored a bit too much. Coming out after the conclusion of the original trilogy and before Microsoft had acquired the franchise from Epic Games, many felt that Gears of War: Judgment seemed to represent the rut the series had fallen into at the time, but looking back, it still delivers a solid campaign with typically excellent cover-based action. It may not be the best that Gears has to offer, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun nonetheless.
