Metal Gear Solid 1/Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake (Heavily Rumored)
It’s fair to say that Metal Gear Solid is one of the games that essentially laid the blueprint for a modern stealth game, which is why its absence from the industry is felt so strongly by countless fans across the globe. Rumors of a franchise revival have been doing the rounds for some time now, and it’s speculated that Virtuos is currently working on a full fledged remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater which will be announced at E3 this year. Other rumors suggest that Sony is working with Konami on a remake of the first Metal Gear Solid. Either way, Konami has recently suggested that it’s going to announce a new game in a beloved global franchise this year – so we’ll know what to expect in a short while.
