Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga – Popple

Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga

If there’s one thing to admire about Popple, the Shadow Thief, it’s that he doesn’t give up. Which is to say he doesn’t give up immediately. When fighting the Mario Bros. for the first time, Popple actually fights alongside a disguised Bowser (who’s lost his memory and is taken in as a rookie thief. It’s complicated). When Bowser goes down, Popple fights a bit before ultimately conceding and running away. And thus began a long series of Popple encounters throughout the Mario and Luigi games.
