Nitrous Oxide – Crash Team Racing
Crash Team Racing stands even today as a fantastic cart racer and the best on the PS1, but the ending of the story mode was anything but fair. Nitrous Oxide, the alien that would turn Crash’s entire planet into a parking garage, doesn’t play by any of the rules the player does. The alien’s ship will refuse to spin out and slow down against even the most powerful items, he’ll take off ahead of the green light and tosses out multiple items at a single time. Woah indeed.
